Room details:

Ten to 15 campers will be housed in a large room. Children will sleep in sleeping bags, with adult supervision available at all times. During hot weather in July and August, children will share a dormitory room of four beds. We offer a safe and secure environment for the accommodation of children. The campus offers excellent bathroom and showering facilities, with qualified adult supervision and on-site security 24-hours a day.

Accommodations

Room details: indoors - tatami mats. Outdoors – tents In addition to the tatami matting we have prepared for indoor lodging, we will also provide a certain amount of tents outdoors for an amazing under-the-stars experience. Each classroom can accommodate 20 tatamis for 20 campers while each tent will accommodate two campers, with every child having a chance to sleep outside through our rotation system. Sleeping bags will be supplied, but campers should remember to bring their own pillow.
Courses & Activities
Background information on the EXPO and attending nations, as well as geography, art and music courses. Games and sports will be organized for outdoor periods, with children having access to the school’s excellent range of sports facilities.
Meals
We will provide a Chinese and Western menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Shanghai United International School.
Payment & Cancellation
Seats are limited, it is recommended that you book and complete payment at least three weeks in advance. For cancellations made 10 days prior to the departure date: 80% of the tour price will be returned. For cancellations made 2-9 days prior to the departure date: 50% of tour price will be returned. Those that do not provide forward notice of cancellation, and do not show up at the EXPO camp will not receive refunds.
Security
Professional teachers，adult volunteers and the school’s ever-present staff of security personnel will be working at the camp. Security will be active 24-hours per day, on a closed site. There will be three members of staff to every 20 children in attendance.

1. Pay by cash. We can arrange a courier to collect cash from your address if pre-arranged. (Delivery fee from RMB20, depending on location)

3. Pay by Paypal. A 3% surcharge will be payable. We can send you a link for the PayPal site by email.
   

What is the camper required to bring with them?

Mobile Phone & charger: For communication at the EXPO site
Pillow: For comfort and hygiene, we recommend all kids bring their own pillow.
Other recommended items:
※ Toiletries (including a toothbrush and a cup, toothpaste, towels and slippers). Shampoo and bath foam will be provided by us, although feel free to bring those suited to your needs.
※ A laundry bag
※ At least 3 changes of clothes including sportswear, sneakers, socks and under wear.
※ Water bottle and rain-proof jacket, umbrella or poncho
※ Sunscreen, bug spray/ insect repellent and handkerchief
※ A small amount of pocket money
